Craghoppers at Kent Wool Growers Ltd. Craghoppers started making outdoor clothing specifically designed in 1965.
A group of guys in Yorkshire were planning to climb Everest and needed waterproof jackets, trousers, performance tops and warm layers to withstand the harsh conditions. They researched and designed fabrics that would protect them from the extreme cold. All their preparation paid off as they successfully reached the summit of Everest.
